Questions on meetings, membership, site tours ... or just forgot your login? If you've got questions, we've got answers.
Q: What’s the mission of CCNG?
A: In 1991 when the original group of call center management got together for their initial meeting, it was suggested and agreed that our association of members would be called the Call Center Network Group (CCNG). Today CCNG has grown to be the #1 network for customer care and contact center professionals. For people who manage and support the contact center, CCNG provides a growing network of professional peers and trusted advisors who actively share their knowledge and experience on all issues that impact performance. The CCNG Member Network supports local communities and an international professional network where you can contribute to - and learn from - the growing body of knowledge.
Q: What kinds of customer care organizations are represented?
A: CCNG members include:
-
Large and small operations across all industries
-
Inbound, outbound, and blended contact channels
-
Customer service and support, telesales and back office operations
-
Commercial companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations
Q: How do I join?
A: The easiest way is to join online using a credit card.
Q: How do I register for a meeting?
A: If you are a current CCNG member, log on to our web site using your email address and password. Click on the "Programs & Events" heading at the top of your screen. Click on the meeting date you are interested in on the left hand side of your screen. Click the "Register Now" button and you will be walked through the remaining of the registration process.
Q: Can I have someone attend meetings in my place?
A: Individual Memberships are non-transferable. That means the membership cannot be used by a Member's colleague or co-worker to attend a CCNG Meeting or other CCNG event in their place. The colleague or co-worker would have to obtain a separate Membership in order to attend or otherwise participate in programs and benefits reserved for active CCNG members. CCNG Single Site Membership allows for anyone in the organization to attend any CCNG event at no cost and actively participate in all CCNG member programs and benefits.
Q: I’m not a member, but can I still come to a meeting?
A: CCNG Meetings are members-only events. They are generally held at a contact center facility and we often experience space limitations. For that reason, attendance priority is given to members.
Q: How do I use the member directory?
A: First, you must be logged-in as a current member. The Member Directory is designed to get you connected. You can search by multiple criteria to find other members and then send an email to the member you select. Once you have established a connection with others in the network you may want to move more complex discussions to your own communication tools.
Q: How do I find my login/password? I have forgotten them.
A: If you have forgotten your password, click on the link "I don't know my password" located on the login screen. You will be prompted to enter your email address. Your password will be sent to your email account. Your login is your email address.
Q: Are there events near me that I can attend?
A: Check the Programs & Events page to see where CCNG has meetings scheduled and what other events are being planned by CCNG Alliance Partners. If you don’t see one serving your state, let us know if you’re interested in starting a new CCNG Community.
Q: There isn’t a CCNG Community in my area, can I still be a member?
A: Of course. You’ll become part of the #1 network for customer care and contact center professionals, with full access to member resources, industry research studies, the online member directory and you can travel to and attend any CCNG event.
Q: Can anyone host a meeting?
A: CCNG Meetings are designed to be hosted at a CCNG Member’s contact center facility. It’s a great way to showcase a company and its contact center and increase visibility and local awareness of the operation. It’s rare that we make an exception to this format. If you would like to be considered to host a future meeting you may contact us directly: Michelle Porterfield, Director of Marketing, events@ccng.com, or call 971-267-2264
Q: Can anyone host a contact center tour?
A: Tours are usually provided as part of a CCNG Meeting. Therefore the tour is normally a review of the host’s facility.
Q: How can industry vendors participate in CCNG?
A: We recognize that many organizations would like to work with CCNG to help educate our members on best practice strategies and tools and new trends in management and technology. Our Partner Program provides a structured path for this activity. If you’re interested in more detail please contact us at partnership@ccng.com.
